Vance was initially brought in for questioning regarding his association with the Vanguard. His most powerful proto-tech appears to be his illegal Virophix pyro ignition, making him a threat in close combat situations. Paired with his proto-tech arm he should not be approached in close quarters. 

Vance was notably uncooperative during questioning and remained quiet. As a note, Vance appears to be close with the leader of the Vanguard ‘Slade Thorne’, but a relationship has not been determined.
